His role as a decent lover boy in the film SMS and the horror-comedy Prema Katha Chitra films didn't earn him much credit. After this, he acted in a complete out and out mass action entertainer Aadu Magadra Bujji, but even that was a failure at the box office. The film Sridevi Soda Centre is touted to be a mass entertainer whose motion poster was released a few days ago, fulfilling its promise of being a full-on mass entertainer. The film is helmed by Karuna Kumar of Palasa 1978 and Metro Kathalu fame and bankrolled by his friends  Vijay Chilla and Shashi Devireddy.
