> Sivakarthikeyan met thousands of fans and fan club members near Porur in Chennai, urging them to set clear goals, ignore criticism and value family and education, while making no political announcement.

Sivakarthikeyan spent an evening with a huge gathering of fans and fan association members near Porur in Chennai, and the meet quickly set tongues wagging. Reports put the crowd somewhere between 2,000 and 3,000 people. The event reportedly drew representatives from across Tamil Nadu and had the feel of a political rally, complete with a grand entry for the star.

That atmosphere sparked fresh talk about a possible move into politics, at a time when several Kollywood names are being linked with Tamil Nadu politics. Reports say Vijay has already made that jump and become Chief Minister of the state, while Raghava Lawrence has spoken in the past about his interest in public service. Sivakarthikeyan, however, made no announcement. He has not revealed any party, organisation or plan to contest elections.

Instead, the actor kept the spotlight on his fans and their futures. He thanked them for backing him through his journey and told them not to let criticism, negative opinions or social media chatter pull them away from their work. Setting clear goals and working steadily towards them was at the heart of his speech.

Family and learning also took centre stage. He encouraged students to take their education seriously, build strong careers and become financially independent, while keeping their families at the core of their lives. He also suggested that gaining knowledge can widen young minds and cut down time lost to social media. He reportedly described himself as a "people-made star" rather than a self-made one, and asked fans to read books for at least 15 minutes every day.

Fans also walked away with a work update. According to reports, his upcoming action entertainer Seyon is now 60 percent complete and is expected to reach theatres during Pongal 2027. As for politics, any talk of Sivakarthikeyan entering the field remains pure speculation for now.
