# Sidharth Malhotra hurts his leg, posts photo in a medical walking boot

Sidharth Malhotra has hurt his leg. On Tuesday, October 13, the actor put up an Instagram Story of the injured leg strapped into a medical walking boot. He joked that he had taken the old stage wish "break a leg" far too literally, and added a hospital emoji.

Nothing in the post explained what happened. The actor gave the answer himself at an Ambani family event in Jamnagar, where guests filmed him speaking to the crowd. He told them that while rehearsing his performance a few hours earlier, he got carried away and jumped too much. He went to hospital, thanked the family and the doctors who looked after him, and said he had been told to stay off his feet that day.

Off screen, the family has had happier news this month. On October 7, Sidharth and his wife, Kiara Advani, said they are expecting their second child. Their joint Instagram post showed a pair of tiny knitted booties held by Sidharth and their daughter, Saraayah. Kiara has since posted pictures from a family beach holiday, one of them showing the three of them leaving footprints in the sand.

Kiara and Sidharth married on February 7, 2023, at Suryagarh Palace in Rajasthan.

His latest release is The Vvaan, a folklore fantasy thriller directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra, with Tamannaah Bhatia as his co-star. It reached theatres on September 25.
