# Sambarala Yeti Gattu stays on Sankranthi 2027 despite Chiranjeevi's Kaaka

Sai Dharam Tej's Sambarala Yeti Gattu is not giving up its Sankranthi 2027 slot, even though Megastar Chiranjeevi's Kaaka is heading for the same festival window. The pan-India film was announced for a January 12, 2027 release, and producer Chaitanya Reddy has made it clear that the team will stick to that date.

Once Kaaka was lined up for the same season, many expected the Supreme Hero's film to move. Kaaka is reportedly due on January 13, 2027, just one day later. The producer pointed out that Sambarala Yeti Gattu announced its date first and Chiranjeevi's film came after. He added that the team would have thought again if Kaaka's date had been announced earlier.

Chaitanya Reddy also gave an update on the film's progress. Shooting is finished, dubbing is under way and the visual effects work is said to be in good shape. He said the team is not rushing the film just to cash in on the holiday season. A Dussehra release was considered at one point, but the VFX workload led the makers to lock Sankranthi instead.

The film is the first as director for Rohith KP. K Niranjan Reddy and Chaitanya Reddy are producing it under the Primeshow Entertainment banner. According to reports, it is being made on a budget of more than Rs. 100 crore.

Aishwarya Lekshmi plays the female lead, and Jagapathi Babu, Sai Kumar, Srikanth and Ananya Nagalla have important roles. Ajaneesh Loknath is composing the music. With the two films now set to open a day apart, Sankranthi 2027 looks set to be a crowded festival at the box office.
