# Samantha’s Shakuntalam to be shot in a Historic location

The government of Telangana has authorised the makers of Samantha’s [Shakuntalam](https://clapnumber.com/movies/telugu/shakuntalam) to shoot at the classic Gandipet lake in Hyderabad. The Samantha starrer will be the first movie to shoot at this iconic location in the last six years.

The government had restrained film shootings at Gandipet lake for security reasons. Now, [Shakuntalam](https://clapnumber.com/movies/telugu/shakuntalam) is set to be shot at this location.
