> Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana Part 1, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Yash and Sai Pallavi, opens in theatres worldwide on November 5, 2026, with advance bookings starting on Dussehra, October 20.

Ramayana Part 1 will open in theatres worldwide on November 5, 2026. The makers of Nitesh Tiwari's mythological epic announced the date on the first day of Navratri, and advance bookings open on Dussehra, October 20.

A new poster arrived with the news. Ranbir Kapoor's Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi's Sita and Ravi Dubey's Lakshman stand in front, while Yash's Ravana towers over all three.

"Yeh Ram ke Yug ka Aarambh hai," the team wrote in the caption, calling it the beginning of Ram's era. The post said the film will play in cinemas across the world in all premium formats.

This settles an earlier question about the dates. Producer Namit Malhotra had said the film would reach Indian screens around Diwali, with the overseas release on November 6. Now India and the rest of the world get it on the same day.

Malhotra is producing the film with Yash. Ramayana is planned in two parts, and the second instalment is set for Diwali 2027.

Sunny Deol plays Hanuman, Arun Govil plays King Dasharatha and Lara Dutta plays Queen Kaikeyi. Rakul Preet Singh and Vivek Oberoi are also part of the large ensemble.
