> Vijay Deverakonda's Ranabaali drops a 3 minute 47 second trailer on October 8 ahead of its October 16 worldwide release, after director Rahul Sankrityan softened two atrocity scenes following audience screenings.

The trailer for Vijay Deverakonda's Ranabaali arrives on October 8 at 6:03 PM, the makers have announced. The cut runs 3 minutes and 47 seconds and comes ahead of the film's worldwide release on October 16.

Rahul Sankrityan directs the period drama, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna and international actor Arnold Vosloo. Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar have produced it under Mythri Movie Makers, T-Series presents it, and Ajay-Atul have composed the music.

The finished film is a little gentler than the first edit. During post-production, Sankrityan showed the cut to different groups of viewers in the editing room, and their reactions made him rethink two atrocity scenes. Those portions reportedly proved so disturbing that they changed how viewers took the scenes that followed. He toned both down.

The build-up to release has run on several fronts. A documentary series has given fans a look behind the film, the songs are already out, and Vijay and Rashmika's first Hindi podcast drew wide attention.
