# Ranabaali documentary's second episode looks at British rule and the railways

Ranabaali's promotional campaign has added a second documentary chapter. The History We Forgot, the latest episode of the Never Forget The Truth series, is now streaming on YouTube. It follows the opening episode, The Famine We Forgot, and once again puts the film's lead pair in front of the camera to talk about the past.

This time the focus is on the years of British rule and the way India's farm produce and resources were moved during that period. Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna walk viewers through the railway network of the era and the part it played in hauling crops and goods from different regions to the ports.

Rashmika opens up about the research she did for the film and how studying that time affected her emotionally. Vijay turns to the economics, discussing the reasons the railway system was built in the first place. He also reportedly reflects on how the British railways are popularly seen, pointing to their role in moving Indian resources.

Ranabaali is directed by Rahul Sankrityan, with Vijay and Rashmika in the lead roles. The film is reportedly presented by T-Series, while Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar are said to be producing it on a lavish scale under the Mythri Movie Makers banner.

The series is not done yet. Its third episode will stream on October 2, and reports say it is called The Men We Forgot. Another chapter, The Last Load, is reportedly due to be announced later. The film itself arrives in theatres worldwide on October 16, a date that reportedly lines up with Vijayadashami.
