> The makers of Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Yash and Sai Pallavi, are planning paid preview shows on November 4, a day before the film's worldwide release on November 5.

Ramayana will reach some audiences a day early. The makers are planning paid preview shows on November 4, one day before the film opens worldwide on November 5.

Billed as one of the biggest Indian films of the year, the mythological epic is directed by Nitesh Tiwari. Ranbir Kapoor, Yash and Sai Pallavi play the lead roles, and Namit Malhotra and his team are behind the preview plan.

Reports say 300 prepaid shows are lined up for the eve of release. That is a big count for a single day of early screenings.

Preview shows have caught on with major films lately, Bollywood included, and they have been adding solid amounts to opening box office totals. Ramayana now joins that list, with ticket buyers getting a first look before the wider audience.
