# Raja Ravindra's Cryptic Post Sparks Talk After The Paradise Release

Raja Ravindra, who plays a ruthless police officer in Nani's The Paradise, has got social media talking with a short, puzzling message on X, posted soon after the film reached theatres. The actor has not said what prompted it, and fans are busy reading between the lines.

The post, written in Telugu, reads "తగలబడిపోయిన కొంపలో ఎన్ని విలువైన వస్తువులున్నా వేస్టే." Loosely put, it says that whatever treasures a house holds are worthless once the house has gone up in flames. Several users quickly linked the line to The Paradise. They wondered whether he was hinting at unhappiness with the film or with his own part in it.

The speculation follows a strong start for the Srikanth Odela directorial. Trade estimates put its first day worldwide gross, premieres included, above Rs 70 crore. In the Nizam area, the film reportedly earned a distributor share of Rs 15.7 crore including GST, said to be a record for a tier 2 hero. Nizam theatrical rights were reportedly sold for Rs 34 crore, so close to half of that investment came back on day one.

Reviews, however, have been sharply divided, and much of the criticism targets the story, screenplay and direction. Raja Ravindra sat through long prosthetic sessions for his look, and a pre-release video of that makeover built interest. Even so, many viewers feel the role did not land. He is not alone. Mohan Babu, the main antagonist, has drawn comments about thin material, and Sampoornesh Babu, who was attached to the project for close to two years, is said to have very few lines.

Nani, meanwhile, has reportedly responded to the mixed reactions himself. He thanked audiences for their love and even their funny trolls, and said he had learned from the flaws critics pointed out. He added that the team put in a great deal of hard work to offer something different, and that the final verdict rests with the audience.

As for Raja Ravindra, he has offered no clarification. Whether his message is about the film, his character or something else entirely remains an open question.
