# Prabhas To Play A Double Role In Salaar?

Fans from all over the country are desperately waiting for [Prabhas](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/prabhas) and Shruti Haasan’s very well-known mobster drama, [Salaar](https://clapnumber.com/movies/telugu/salaar). The shoot for this film had been commenced in late January in the opencast coal mines in Godavarikhani, Telangana. Recently, the film crew had revealed an interesting revelation. According to the reports, [Prabhas](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/prabhas) will most probably be playing a double role of both a father and his son in [Salaar](https://clapnumber.com/movies/telugu/salaar). This takes us back to when he did the same in the Baahubali films. 

In this enthralling film, [Prabhas](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/prabhas) will be portraying the role of a General to a mafia lord. [Salaar](https://clapnumber.com/movies/telugu/salaar) will also star a prominent senior actor as [Prabhas](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/prabhas)’ chief. [Shruti Hasan](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/shruti-haasan)'s role hasn't been specified yet but it is fair to expect an enticing performance from her. We expect no less from one of the finest actors of the south film industry!

[Salaar](https://clapnumber.com/movies/telugu/salaar) will be directed by Prashanth Neel and will be produced by KGF producer Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Hombale Films.
