Pawan Kalyan Expresses His Frustration With Karthi Over His Remark About Tirupati Laddu.

The controversy surrounding Tirupati Laddu has intensified following Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu's remarks on its sanctity. Lab reports claiming the Laddu contains animal fat and fish oil have sparked a significant uproar on social media, elevating the issue beyond the Telugu states to a national level. In response, Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan has proposed the establishment of a Sanatana Dharma Rakshana Board to prevent such controversies in the future.

An investigation is currently underway, with the Andhra government forming a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to look into the matter. During the pre-release event for Karthi's film Sathyam Sundaram (titled Meiyazhagan in Tamil), a meme related to Laddu was shown, prompting a question about it. Karthi replied, “We should not discuss Laddu right now. It’s a sensitive topic. Let’s set that aside.” This remark quickly went viral and caught the attention of Pawan Kalyan, who expressed his displeasure.

Pawan Kalyan responded emphatically, stating, “People are making jokes about Laddu. I saw a film event where it was mentioned as a sensitive topic. You should never say that. I respect you as actors, but when it comes to Sanatana Dharma, you need to think carefully before you speak.”

In turn, Karthi took to social media to address Pawan Kalyan’s comments, writing, “Dear Pawan Kalyan sir, I sincerely apologize for any misunderstanding caused. As a humble devotee of Lord Venkateswara, I deeply respect our traditions. Best regards.”
