Eight years on, Sakshi, played by Jennifer Winget, arrives in Shimla with a young daughter, and Anvita becomes convinced that the child is her own. Anuup Soni plays Khurana, the police officer helping with the case. Infidelity and friction with a scheming mother-in-law also run through the story. Reports say the plot also takes in illegal surrogacy, hallucinations and hints of witchcraft.
