# Neha Sharma warns of legal action over AI videos and images using her face

Actor Neha Sharma has threatened legal action against anyone who makes or shares AI-generated videos and images of her without her consent. She posted the warning on X on October 17.

"Anyone using my face or likeness to create AI-generated videos or images without my consent is hereby warned to STOP IMMEDIATELY," she wrote. She asked for every such clip and picture already online to be taken down, and told people to stop creating, editing or circulating new ones. She called it completely unacceptable to use her face to misrepresent her or harm her reputation.

She was blunt about what comes next. Calling the post a formal warning, Neha said she would take legal action against every person responsible for creating, posting or circulating the content. She also said fake accounts would not protect anyone. "No one should assume that hiding behind a fake account or the use of AI will protect them from accountability," she wrote, and ended with: "TAKE IT DOWN NOW. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED."

Neha's next release is Sanjog, a Punjabi film directed by Harish Gargi. Jassie Gill and Happy Raikoti also star, and the film opens in theatres worldwide on November 27, 2026.
