# Nani's The Paradise Arrives Tomorrow With Record Advances and a Personal Story

Nani and director Srikanth Odela are back together after Dasara, and their new film The Paradise opens in theatres worldwide on September 24, 2026. Premiere shows are lined up for tonight. The action drama has been cleared with an A certificate.

Odela has shared the very personal idea behind Jadal, the character Nani plays. He posted a childhood photo of himself in two braids and explained that his mother grew and tied his hair until he was about five or six. As he grew up, he kept picturing how a hero with braids would look on the 70MM screen in a commercial film. Jadal's birth and battle are fictional, he says, but the look is his own. "This picture is not just my childhood. This picture is my Paradise," he wrote.

The premieres also reportedly got a boost from the Telangana High Court, which is said to have refused a stay on the special shows. A petition had challenged the permission for the early screenings and the higher ticket prices.

Bookings have been huge. Worldwide advance sales are close to Rs 50 crore. Reports say the film has crossed Rs 1 crore in Chennai and made Rs 3.25 crore in Karnataka, which would be Nani's best start in both places. The team is reportedly aiming for over Rs 50 crore gross from the premieres and Day 1 together, which would be the biggest opening of Nani's career.

Nani had asked Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for help to watch a premiere with fans at RTC X Roads. The Chief Minister asked him to send an official application to the local police station. Nani then reportedly said he would follow the police decision and would happily skip the visit if it caused safety problems during the Ganesh Nimarjanam arrangements.

The cast includes Mohan Babu, Raghav Juyal, Kayadu Lohar, Sonali Kulkarni and Sampoornesh Babu. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music, and Sudhakar Cherukuri produces under SLV Cinemas. Fans online are guessing that Nani's fight against Mohan Babu's character, over the identity and respect of his tribe, also hides a personal revenge. The makers have kept the plot secret.
