Nagarjuna will present Itllu Arjuna, the debut film of Aniesh, under his Annapurna Studios banner after watching the completed movie. Mahesh Uppala directs the romance and Venky Kudumula produces it. It reaches theatres on October 30.

Anaswara Rajan stars opposite Aniesh, who plays a man who cannot speak. Nagarjuna said he knows Aniesh personally and first heard the story when the young actor asked him to lend his voice to the glimpse. Back then he cautioned Aniesh that a mute role was a big gamble for a first film, but the final cut left him amazed.

The star compared the film's youthful energy to Kshana Kshanam and Ninne Pelladatha. He also praised Anaswara Rajan's performance, the director's execution and the producer's faith in the content, and said he was proud to be linked with the project.

He was clear that nothing obliged him to back it. He loves cinema, he said, and wants to support good films, not just the ones tied to him or made by his children.

Cinematographer Raja made such an impression that Nagarjuna signed him for King, his 100th film, after seeing the rushes. He also had warm words for Thaman, whose songs for the film have already found a strong audience.

Aniesh said it meant a great deal to the team that a star of Nagarjuna's stature chose to present their film. Venky Kudumula thanked him for the support.
