> Mythri Movie Makers, which already produces, distributes and screens films, is planning a large film studio in Hyderabad, though the banner has made no official announcement yet.

Mythri Movie Makers, one of the biggest production banners in Tollywood, is planning to build a large film studio, reports say. The company has made no official announcement so far.

A studio would add one more arm to a business that keeps growing. Mythri began by producing films, then moved into distribution, and later stepped into exhibition with its own theatres.

The facility would come up in Hyderabad. The plan is still at an early stage, and the team is looking for a large plot of land on the outskirts of the city.

Before any construction starts, Mythri may have to apply to the state government to set up the studio. The project would move ahead only after it meets the government's rules and guidelines.

The exact site and the size of the land have not been confirmed. Until the producers speak, the plan stays as industry talk, even though word of it has spread widely on social media.
