Mrunal Thakur marked her brother Mandar Thakur's birthday with an emotional Instagram post, calling him "my first baby, my partner in crime, my forever little boy."

The actor credited her brother with teaching her patience, showing her what hard work looks like and reminding her what strength means. She called him the "coolest, smartest kid" she knows. His kind soul and beautiful heart, she said, are what make him special.

"Sometimes I wonder how I got so lucky to have you as my brother," she wrote, adding that if life handed her a million chances, she would choose to be his sister in every one.

Growing up changes nothing, as far as she is concerned. Mandar will always be her baby, the one she worries about, prays for and feels proud of, however old they get. She signed off with "Happiest birthday, my world..I NUV YOU 3000."

Along with the note came a carousel of pictures, mixing solo shots of Mandar with happy photos of the siblings together.
