# Mirzapur: The Movie reaches Rs 220 crore nett as fourth weekend falls 65 per cent

Mirzapur: The Movie is heading into the final stretch of its theatrical run. The gangster action drama reportedly collected around Rs 4 crore nett in its fourth weekend, a fall of about 65 per cent from the weekend before. According to trade estimates, that takes its India total to roughly Rs 220 crore nett after 24 days.

The weekend numbers were modest. The film is said to have earned Rs 0.90 crore on its fourth Friday and Rs 1.60 crore on Saturday, and Sunday is estimated at Rs 1.50 crore. Most of the money came early: its first week alone brought in Rs 145 crore nett, and the second week added Rs 53.75 crore.

The start was big too. With an opening weekend of Rs 97.69 crore, Mirzapur sits fourth among this year's top Bollywood opening weekends, behind Dhurandhar 2, Border 2 and the Hindi version of Toxic. Reports also call it the third biggest hit of 2026 so far, after Dhurandhar: The Revenge and Hanuman Ansh.

Gurmmeet Singh directed the film, which stars Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Divyenndu, Ravi Kishan and Jitendra. It faces fresh competition from the coming weekend, when Drishyam: The Conclusion arrives in theatres. On current trends, it is expected to finish its run somewhere between Rs 225 crore and Rs 230 crore nett in India.

The bigger story may be what these numbers mean for streaming brands. Mirzapur's success in theatres is being read as proof that a popular digital property can bring audiences into cinemas. As a result, more OTT shows are now expected to make the same jump to the big screen.
