> Malavika Mohanan has finished shooting her part in Pocket Novel opposite Vijay Sethupathi and shared a heartfelt note thanking her co-star and the team for the experience.

Malavika Mohanan has completed shooting for her role in Pocket Novel, where she stars alongside Vijay Sethupathi. To mark the moment, the actress shared a heartfelt note about her time on the film. Reports describe the project as a Tamil film, and say she was earlier seen by Telugu audiences in The Raja Saab.

In her message, Malavika said some films become a small world of their own while they are being made, and that she feels very lucky to be part of this one. She added that over the years she has learned the people you work with matter more than the work of making films itself.

She wrote about the months a crew spends together, sharing long hours every day, eating meals side by side and talking for hours. Through the good days, the bad days and all the emotional ups and downs, she said, the team slowly turns into a home away from home.

A big part of the note was set aside for Vijay Sethupathi. Malavika called him the most caring and generous co-actor and said she could not picture going through this journey with anyone else. She thanked him for being encouraging and kind, and for always giving her a comfortable space to explore a scene and get it right, no matter how long it took or how tough it got.

The pair share some history. Both were part of Petta and Master, yet they never appeared on screen together in either film. Malavika said working opposite him this time was long overdue, and called the experience a beautiful one.

Pocket Novel is directed by Thiagarajan Kumararaja, with music by Ilayaraja. SD Ezhilmathy is producing the film under the Tyler Durden and Kino Fist banner.
