> Madhubanti Bagchi sings the Nora Fatehi special song 'Bindaas' for Rajinikanth's Jailer 2, which is set to release in IMAX theatres worldwide on October 15, 2026.

Singer Madhubanti Bagchi has joined the music team of Rajinikanth's Jailer 2. She sings 'Bindaas', a special song that features Nora Fatehi. Anirudh Ravichander composed it, and he is back as the film's music director. Reports say this is the first time Madhubanti has worked with either Rajinikanth or Anirudh.

According to reports, 'Bindaas' is a Hindi party number written by lyricist Super Subu. The song is said to follow a bold femme fatale who takes over a crowded club and goes up against a powerful figure who cannot be trapped, in a duet built on clashing egos. The lyrics also reportedly use street slang to keep the energy high.

Madhubanti is known for Hindi chartbusters such as 'Aaj Ki Raat', 'Shararat', 'Uyi Amma' and 'Peelings'. Telugu listeners know her from 'Nuvvu Naa Sonthama', 'Style' and 'Kiss Kiss Bang Bang'. She said that recording a song for Rajinikanth and working with Anirudh was a joy, and that she cannot wait for audiences across India to hear it and dance to it.

There is more news on the film. Jailer 2 will also play in IMAX theatres around the world. Reports say producer Sun Pictures confirmed the premium format on its official social media handles, putting an end to the speculation. Sithara Entertainments, which bought the Telugu theatrical rights through producer Suryadevara Naga Vamsi, has reportedly confirmed the IMAX release too.

Jailer 2 is the sequel to Rajinikanth and Nelson Dilipkumar's blockbuster Jailer, and Kalanithi Maran produces it under Sun Pictures. Rajinikanth leads a big cast that includes Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, Vijay Sethupathi, SJ Suryah, Mithun Chakraborty, Yogi Babu, Ramya Krishnan and Vidya Balan. The film opens in theatres on October 15, 2026, and it is one of the most awaited releases of the year.
