In the new poster, Alia sits on a chair in a red outfit with a thigh-high slit skirt and a dramatic feathered headpiece. Spotlights, rich red and gold tones and a theatrical backdrop complete the old-school mood. Bhansali Productions shared the image on social media with the caption "Aag bhi, dilon ki jaan bhi!"

Ranbir's poster, revealed on September 24, showed him behind the wheel of a vintage car with a bruised and bloodied arm, hinting at the war side of the story. The makers are introducing the lead characters one at a time as the promotional campaign gathers pace. The plot is still under wraps, though reports say Ranbir and Vicky Kaushal play Indian Air Force officers whose lives become tied to Alia's character.

The film brings Ranbir, Alia and Vicky together in a Bhansali film for the first time. Alia returns to the director after Gangubai Kathiawadi in 2022, while Ranbir reunites with him nearly two decades after Saawariya. The three stars also share history with each other, as Ranbir and Alia worked together in Brahmastra, and Alia and Vicky were paired in Raazi.

Love & War is directed and produced by Bhansali and is set for a worldwide theatrical release on January 21, 2027. Telugu audiences have reason to cheer, because the film will arrive in Telugu along with Hindi and Tamil. The project has reportedly been postponed twice before landing on this date, so fans will be glad to see the campaign finally rolling.
