# Khosla Ka Ghosla 2 moves to March 5, 2027, makers share new poster

> Khosla Ka Ghosla 2, the sequel to the 2006 comedy led by Anupam Kher and Boman Irani, will now open in theatres on March 5, 2027 instead of August 28, 2026.

Khosla Ka Ghosla 2 will not reach theatres this year. The makers have shifted the comedy sequel, led by Anupam Kher and Boman Irani, from August 28, 2026 to March 5, 2027.

A fresh poster carried the news on social media. Opening with a cheerful "Deal pakki", the team told fans that the Khosla family would be taking over cinema halls next March.

Several faces from the 2006 original are back. Tara Sharma, Ranvir Shorey, Kiran Juneja and Parvin Dabas return with the two leads. Kher plays Khosla once again, and Irani steps back in as Khurana, the property dealer at the heart of the first film's land fight. Ravi Kishan and Divya Khosla are new additions to the cast.

Shooting carried on deep into 2026. In January, Kher posted a video from the sets after a schedule wrap and said 90% of his part was done. Dabas has since said the last schedule was filmed in the first week of August.

Why the release moved is still unclear. The makers have not given a reason, and Dabas said in an earlier interview that he did not know either.
