> On The Great Indian Kapil Show, Kareena Kapoor Khan said Saif Ali Khan proposed three times before she said yes, while Saif joked he still has not received the ghee he won on Kaun Banega Crorepati.

Saif Ali Khan had to ask Kareena Kapoor Khan to marry him three times before she agreed. Kareena shared the story when the couple appeared together on The Great Indian Kapil Show.

The first proposal came in Mumbai and the second in Greece. Only when Saif asked again in Paris did she finally say yes. Saif had a quick comeback ready: had she accepted in Mumbai, he said, he would have saved a lot of money.

He also brought a complaint to the show. Host Kapil Sharma raised Saif's recent arrival on Instagram and read out a fan comment claiming the actor joined because he was so thrilled to win two years' worth of ghee on Kaun Banega Crorepati. Saif set the record straight. The ghee has not reached him yet, he said, and neither has his cheque. Kareena and Archana Puran Singh burst out laughing.

That prize came in late September, when Saif and Akshay Kumar played on Amitabh Bachchan's quiz show to promote their film Haiwaan, directed by Priyadarshan. His excited reaction to the ghee offer quickly became a meme, and fans flooded his Instagram comments with ghee jokes once he joined the platform.

Ghee jokes did not stop there. Kareena said their house uses a lot of it, and Saif claimed she even rubs it on her feet every night, adding that their bedroom smells like a dhaba.

Kareena marked the couple's 14th wedding anniversary on Friday with a set of throwback pictures on Instagram, captioned "Another year around the sun…Forever to go." Saif replied with an anniversary wish of his own.
