# Kangana Ranaut marks Navratri in a traditional lehenga at Chhattisgarh garba

Kangana Ranaut has marked Navratri with a festive look built on Indian craft, posting a behind-the-scenes clip from a photo shoot in Chhattisgarh, where she joined the garba celebrations.

On Instagram, the actor and BJP MP said she was happy to wear the country's own traditional handwork and heritage. In the clip she poses and dances in a richly embellished, multicoloured lehenga choli, styled with heavy silver jewellery. She captioned the pictures 'Dholida 2026'.

Her festival message linked Navratri to the power of women. She called Garba a dance of life, placed Devi, or Shakti, at the heart of the celebration, and wished her followers a happy Navratri.

Kangana set the video to 'Nagada Sang Dhol', the Sanjay Leela Bhansali composition sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Osman Mir.

Reports say the silk outfit comes from the designer label Torani and costs about Rs 2.1 lakh.

Friends from the film industry soon filled the comments. Anupam Kher left a warm compliment for the actor, while Orry replied with a string of heart emojis.
