> Jr NTR shared a playful picture and called SS Rajamouli the man who keeps raising the bar, while Mahesh Babu posted a picture from the sets of Varanasi, due in theatres on April 7, 2027.

Jr NTR wished SS Rajamouli on his birthday with a playful picture of the two of them and a line that sums up how he sees the director. "Happy Birthday to the man who keeps raising the bar and then jumps over it himself. Love you Jakkanna @ssrajamouli," the actor wrote on X.

Their partnership began with Student No. 1 in 2001. Simhadri followed in 2003 and Yamadonga in 2007. They came together again for RRR in 2022, which also starred Ram Charan.

Mahesh Babu, who leads Rajamouli's next film Varanasi, marked the day with a behind-the-scenes picture from the sets. "Wishing you the most memorable birthday yet @ssrajamouli sir…Cannot wait for the world to see what we are creating together," he posted. The film's official account sent its own greeting: "Happy Birthday to THE DIRECTOR."

Priyanka Chopra Jonas plays Mandakini and Prithviraj Sukumaran plays Kumbha in the adventure, which marks Priyanka's return to Indian cinema. The story moves across several locations, including Africa and Antarctica. The makers have set a worldwide theatrical release for April 7, 2027.
