> Early viewers of Rajinikanth's Jailer 2 have praised its first half, singling out the interval block, Anirudh Ravichander's background score and Nelson Dilipkumar's humour.

The first half of Rajinikanth's Jailer 2 has drawn a strong early response. Viewers are hailing the interval block, Anirudh Ravichander's background score and Nelson Dilipkumar's brand of humour.

Anirudh's music came up again and again. Fans said the score lifts the Superstar's mass moments, and one viewer simply called it "so good".

Not every reaction was unqualified. One viewer on X called it a "solid commercial 1st half" that sticks to a familiar template and opens a little slowly. That viewer added that Nelson's comedy lands once the setup is in place, and that the sequel picks up exactly where the first Jailer ended.

Another X user was more effusive. They praised the dark humour, called Yogi Babu's comedy "peak" and described the interval and its staging as "perfect". They said there was not a single boring scene and that the screenplay moved fast.

Beyond the interval, early audiences picked out a bridge sequence and a tea shop scene as standout moments. They also liked the way the film mixes comedy with emotion.
