Kamal Haasan's highly anticipated film, Indian 2, is set to release on July 12th across India in multiple languages. The makers are putting in a lot of effort to ensure the film reaches a wide audience.

However, the advance bookings in Tamil Nadu have started off slowly. Only 24% of tickets have been sold for the 1173 shows planned for the first day. This is surprising considering the star power of the film.

With two days to go before the release, we are hopeful that the bookings will pick up. Indian 2 is also receiving a wide release in the Telugu states for all the Shankar fans out there.
