Kriti is a go lucky girl and falls in love with a handsome hunk in the form of [Rajkummar](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/rajkummar-rao) Rao. Just when Kriti and [Rajkummar](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/rajkummar-rao) plan to take their relationship forward, a roadblock hits. Kriti has an idealistic thought about family when she wants to get married. The requirement is, the boy needs to have a family and a cute dog.

But [Rajkummar](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/rajkummar-rao) is an orphan and so he adopted parents and they are [Paresh](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/paresh-rawal) Rawal and Ratna Pathak Shah. [Paresh](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/paresh-rawal) and Ratna have an old connection but agree to be the parents of [Rajkummar](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/rajkummar-rao) till the wedding.

Since then there are ups and downs of an imperfect family.
