> At the Ranabaali pre-release event, director Harish Shankar defended Vijay Deverakonda, saying trolls can mock the actor's language and body language but never his dedication.

Director Harish Shankar stood firmly behind Vijay Deverakonda at the pre-release event of Ranabaali, telling the actor's online critics that his commitment to films is out of their reach.

Trolls can go after the way Vijay talks and carries himself, Harish said, but they cannot touch his dedication. He went a step further and declared that the person who can troll VD's dedication is yet to be born.

The director pointed out that online trolling had already been a talking point at the film's trailer launch. He then turned to his own experience. Had he been scared of trolls, he said, he would have quit the industry after Shock and never got this far.

Harish described himself as the most trolled person in recent times, yet noted that he was still standing in front of the crowd. He said he has seen how hard Vijay works and called him a positive person.

Before wrapping up his speech, Harish also recalled a dialogue from Neninthe.
