> Hanuman Ansh, the Hindi devotional drama that grew from a quiet opening into a ₹400 crore success, has a Telugu trailer, and Hombale Films will release the Telugu version in theatres on October 9.

Hanuman Ansh is heading to Telugu screens, and the Telugu trailer is now out. The devotional drama came out in Hindi as a small film that nobody expected much from. It went on to become one of the year's biggest surprise hits, collecting more than ₹400 crore. Hombale Films is bringing the Telugu version to theatres on October 9.

The film is reportedly directed by Vishal Chaturvedi and takes its inspiration from the life and spiritual path of Neem Karoli Baba. Reports say the story is adapted from the book Divine Detour. The trailer follows Lakshmi Narayan, a man whose life turns inward after his mother dies. He sets out on a long journey across northern India in search of divine truth.

Chandan Anand and Purnima Tiwari play key roles in the film. Reports also name Vihaan Shedge and Anil Rastogi in the supporting cast.

The box office climb is the real story here. According to reports, Hanuman Ansh opened with only about ₹10 lakh and made roughly ₹1.48 crore across its first two weeks. Strong word of mouth then changed everything, and the film kept growing until it crossed the ₹400 crore mark worldwide.

The Telugu release was reportedly first planned for September 18 before the date was moved. The October 9 slot puts the film right in the Dussehra festive window, and reports say it will play across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and overseas Telugu markets. The big test now is whether its devotional story can win over Telugu audiences the way it won over Hindi viewers.
