Cameras are rolling on Hansal Mehta's next. The filmmaker has started shooting an untitled Original series for Prime Video, with Sunny Kaushal, Bipasha Basu and Vishal Jethwa in the lead.

It is set in a small town that is close to becoming a major heroin hub. Sunny Kaushal plays an honest police officer who comes under pressure from powerful people inside the system and outside it. His real fight is to hold on to his principles while crime and corruption close in around him.

Kashyap Kapoor and Raghav Raj Kakker wrote the show. Prabhleen Sandhu is producing it under the Almighty Motion Pictures Productions banner.

In a social media post announcing the start of filming, the production house called the project "A story yet to be titled, but a dream already taking shape with a magnificent team!" It named Mehta the "Captain of the Ship" and ended the post with "Har Har Mahadev".

Both the title and the release date are still under wraps. Nothing has been shared yet about the roles Bipasha Basu and Vishal Jethwa will play, and the makers are expected to reveal more in the coming months.
