Awarapan 2, Emraan Hashmi's action drama, is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

The sequel did big business in cinemas. Reports say it crossed Rs 200 crore gross worldwide, making it the biggest box office hit of Hashmi's career.

Disha Patani plays the female lead opposite Hashmi. Veteran actor Shabana Azmi and Puran Gabbi take on key supporting roles. Nitin Kakkar directed the film, and Vishesh Bhatt produced it under the Vishesh Films banner.

In the makers' synopsis, Hashmi returns as Shivam, who has left the world of crime behind. He lives alone in a remote Rajasthan village and grieves at the grave of the woman he loved. A cartel war in Bangkok pulls him back into violence. A new chance at love follows, and with it comes responsibility for people he has grown to care about.
