The team behind Dragon, the big action entertainer that brings NTR together with director Prashanth Neel, has ended the talk about its release date. Producer Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers has confirmed that the film will arrive on June 11, 2027. That is the date the makers had already announced officially.

He confirmed the date at the pre-release event of Don't Trouble the Trouble. Recent posts on social media had said that shooting schedules and production work could push the film back. Ravi Shankar made it clear that Dragon will keep its June 11 date, which settles the doubts fans had been voicing online.

NTR came to the same event as a guest, and his appearance quickly drew attention to his health. Reports say he hurt his shoulder while shooting Dragon and had surgery, and that doctors told him to rest for six to eight weeks. According to reports, he kept his right arm still through the event, waved to the crowd with his left hand and held the mic in his left hand too.

A video of the star meeting a fan was reportedly released after the event, and it shows him wearing a support pouch on his right arm. Many fans now believe he has not fully recovered. The rest of the shoot is reportedly set to start in the second week of October, and action sequences are still left to film. Since the film has reportedly been postponed several times already, some reports say doubts remain about whether the date can hold.

Mythri Movie Makers is backing Dragon, and Rukmini Vasanth reportedly plays the female lead. Don't Trouble the Trouble, the film whose event carried the update, reportedly stars Fahadh Faasil and is produced by Rajamouli's son Karthikeya.
