# Dragon holds its June 11 release date as NTR promises no delays

> Mythri Movie Makers producer Ravi Shankar has confirmed that NTR's Dragon, directed by Prashanth Neel, will release on June 11 as planned, dismissing delay rumours at the pre-release event of Fahadh Faasil's Don't Trouble The Trouble.

NTR's Dragon is sticking to its date. Producer Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers confirmed that the Prashanth Neel action entertainer will arrive on June 11 as planned, putting an end to talk of a postponement. He made the announcement at the pre-release event of Don't Trouble The Trouble in Hyderabad, where NTR was the chief guest.

Rumours of a delay had grown after NTR suffered a hand injury, which reportedly needed surgery. NTR addressed the matter himself on stage, telling fans that work on Dragon would restart soon and that there would be no delays. According to reports, he returns to the sets on October 10, with the team lining up big action sequences and a schedule that runs through February 2027 without a break.

Rukmini Vasanth plays the female lead, and Mythri Movie Makers is mounting the film on a lavish budget. Reports also say NTR plays Luger, the Assassin in Chief of the Afghan Trading Company, with Anil Kapoor and Biju Menon in the supporting cast. Ravi Basrur is reportedly scoring the music, while Bhuvan Gowda handles the camera.

The evening itself belonged to Don't Trouble The Trouble, Fahadh Faasil's first straight Telugu film. Debutant Shashank Yeleti directs, and the film opens on October 2. Shobu Yarlagadda, Prasad Devineni and S.S. Karthikeya produce it under the Arka Media Works and Showing Business banners, with S.S. Rajamouli presenting.

NTR reportedly spoke warmly about Fahadh, recalling that Bangalore Days was the first of his films he watched and counting him among the few actors he truly admires. He wished the film a big success and a lasting place in Fahadh's career. He also praised Shashank for moving up from associate director through sheer dedication and clarity.

Turning personal, NTR remembered that nobody came to the launch of his first film, Ninnu Chudalani, and that he attended it alone. He credited the love of his fans, and later Jakkanna and his family, for changing that. He called Karthikeya a brother who stood by him during a rough patch, said RRR and Baahubali happened because of him, and asked fans to bless the young producer the way they once backed him.
