> Fahadh Faasil's first Telugu film as a lead, Don't Trouble The Trouble, reportedly earned about ₹0.33 crore net on its first Monday, taking its four-day India net total to ₹3.37 crore after a ₹1.65 crore opening.

Fahadh Faasil's first Telugu outing as a leading man, Don't Trouble The Trouble, has now finished its opening weekend and first Monday in cinemas. The fantasy film, written and directed by Shashank Yeleti, arrived in theatres on October 2 and opened with an estimated ₹1.65 crore net in India.

The film slowed down at the start of the working week. Reports put its Monday, October 5 collection at around ₹0.33 crore net from about 720 shows, with occupancy near 14%. That is its lowest single day so far and a drop of 46.8% from Sunday's reported ₹0.62 crore. According to the same estimates, the India net total after four days stands at ₹3.37 crore, the gross is close to ₹3.89 crore and total footfall has reached 2,66,273.

The weekend numbers have not been consistent, though. Early estimates for Saturday were much higher than later figures for the same day, so the day by day picture is still settling. Reports also say the Telugu version brings in most of the money, with the Malayalam and Tamil versions adding smaller amounts. Tuesday's figure should give a clearer read on how the film holds up on weekdays.

The story centres on Suri, played by Fahadh, a street magician and troublemaker in Hyderabad. During one of his acts, a young girl named Divya, played by Ssara Palekar, vanishes. Suri first takes her for an ordinary child, but soon learns that she is a genie who can grant wishes and unleash strange powers. Saurabh Sachdeva rounds out the main cast.

S. S. Rajamouli presents the film, which S. S. Karthikeya, Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni have produced under the Arka Media Works and Showing Business banners. Kaala Bhairava has composed the music, Brad Francis ACS handled the camera, Praveen Anthony did the editing and Shikar Srivatsava is the VFX supervisor.

Fans waiting for a streaming release will need some patience. The digital rights are reportedly with Netflix, but no official streaming date had been announced as of October 4, and for now the film is only playing in theatres.
