> Rajinikanth's PR team says the Dharman shoot is moving fast and the director is fully on board, while reports say Kamal Haasan may push the film from Pongal 2027 to summer 2027.

Rajinikanth's team has denied talk that the shoot of his film Dharman has stopped. Riaz K Ahmed, who handles the superstar's PR, said the shooting is moving quickly and going very well.

The rumours spread on social media. Posts claimed Rajinikanth was unhappy with how director Ashwath Marimuthu was running the project, and a few went further, saying the film could be shelved. Ahmed said there was no truth in any of it and that Ashwath is working on the film with full energy.

Besides Rajinikanth, the cast includes Ram Pothineni, Raashi Khanna and Simran, with Kamal Haasan producing. Raashi has been posting updates from the sets.

Its release date could still shift. Reports say Kamal Haasan, who has already opened talks with Rajinikanth on the matter, wants to bring his long-delayed Indian 3 to theatres over Pongal 2027, the festive slot Dharman was announced for, and move Rajinikanth's film to summer 2027.
