# Darbhasayanam Srinivasacharya receives the Indraganti Srikanta Sharma Literary Award for 2022

The 'Indraganti Srikanta Sharma Literary Award', established by the family members of the distinguished poet, Sanskrit Andhra scholar, critic, and writer Shri Indraganti Srikanta Sharma, has been presented to the celebrated poet Darbhasayanam Srinivasacharya for the year 2022. The award ceremony took place today in the presence of close friends and family members at the residence of Srikanta Sharma's son, Indraganti Mohan Krishna. As part of the award, Srinivasa Charya received a memento, shawl, and a cash prize of 25,000 rupees.

Koduri Vijaykumar, the chief guest, spoke at length about Srinivasa Charya's poetic contributions in the program that commenced with a speech by Srikanta Sharma's friend, Mrs. Indraganti Janakibala. Pidapa Mohammed Qadir Babu, Subbaraya Shastri, Mrs. A. Vidyadevi, Ommi Ramesh Babu, Mrs. K. Sajaya, and others shared their thoughts on the occasion.

Indraganti Mohanakrishna served as the commentator for the event, while Indraganti Kiranmayi, daughter of Srikanta Sharma, paid tribute to the awardee.
