> The trailer of Crazy Kalyanam, starring VK Naresh, Anupama Parameswaran, Tharun Bhascker and Akhil Raj Uddemari, is out ahead of the family entertainer's worldwide release on October 16 for Dasara.

The theatrical trailer of Crazy Kalyanam is out, and it sets up a family wedding where very little goes to plan. The makers unveiled it at an event ahead of the film's worldwide release on October 16, in time for Dasara.

VK Naresh plays a father searching for the right groom for his daughter, played by Anupama Parameswaran. She has other ideas. Her character is independent and wants to pursue her career, and she expects her future husband to share the housework, washing dishes included. When her father lines up a match, she turns the tables by revealing that she already loves someone else.

Much of the comedy comes from Tharun Bhascker as Balraju, Naresh's son-in-law. By day he behaves like a model gentleman. By night he is a drunkard.

Akhil Raj Uddemari, known for Raju Weds Rambai, adds to the chaos as a man determined to make Anupama fall for him. Anupama also speaks with a Telangana accent in the film, which gives the role a local flavour.

Badrappa Gajula directs, and Suresh Bobbili has composed the music. Boosam Jagan Mohan Reddy produces the film under the Arrow Cinemas banner as the company's Production No. 2.
