# Choreographer Saroj Khan's Biopic Is In The Works, Announced By T-series Head Bhushan Kumar

Details of the cast and crew of the movie will be announced later. [Saroj Khan](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/saroj-khan) passed away on July 3, 2020, due to heart arrest. She was 71 and was hospitalized in Mumbai following a breathing problem before her demise.

Months after the demise of [Saroj Khan](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/saroj-khan), moviemaker [Remo](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/remo-d-souza) D'Souza had also expressed fascination in making a film of the life of [Saroj Khan](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/saroj-khan). He had said that it was Khan's wish. Talking to a reporter, [Remo](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/remo-d-souza) said that he had a long chat with [Saroj Khan](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/saroj-khan) and she said that if someone were to make her biopic it would be him as he knows both dance and struggle.

With a career span of over 50 years, [Saroj Khan](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/saroj-khan) choreographed more than 2000 songs. She was a National Award winner for the songs – ‘Dola Re Dola’ from Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Devdas, ‘Ek Do Teen’ from Tezaab and ‘Ye Ishq Haaye’ from Jab We Met.
