> After Nana Patekar's death, Tanushree Dutta hit out at the people praising him, and singers Chinmayi Sripaada and Sona Mohapatra spoke up in her support.

Tanushree Dutta has turned her anger on the people praising Nana Patekar after his death. Singers Chinmayi Sripaada and Sona Mohapatra have come out in her support.

Patekar died in Goa on October 8. He was 75. In 2018, Tanushree accused him of sexually harassing her on the sets of Horn 'Ok' Pleassss, and that allegation set off India's #MeToo movement.

In an Instagram Story on Monday, the actress wrote that the praise for a man she had accused of abuse hurt her deeply and wiped out her respect for the people giving it. "I will watch each of these Nana supporters turn to ashes," she wrote. In a video, she stood by her earlier "evil dead" remark and said his death did not erase what she alleges he did. In another clip she said she was 24 when the incident she describes took place.

Mohapatra shared an account on X from an assistant director. The AD said they saw two incidents of alleged misconduct involving the actor, and neither was linked to that film. "Talent isn't innocence. Charity isn't character. Death isn't sainthood," the singer wrote.

Chinmayi reshared that post. She wrote that people praising Patekar must accept her claim that he had molested women, adding that it "was NOT a one time behavior."
