# Bigg Boss 5: With Ravi's victory in the royal task, things get very political in the house!

> With Ravi's victory in the royal task, Ravi, Anee Master, Priya, and Swetha qualify for the captaincy contender task. Obviously, It doesn't sit well with Sunny's side of players as they all scowl and sulk at their opponent team's victory.

After the tug of war task, Bigg Boss announces that the tasks are over and the final counting of the gold coins will is to be done on the next day. Day 31 comes to an end with an impromptu celebration of [Priya](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/priyanka-singh-1)nka's birthday. She goes through a very emotional phase as she gets the best gift of her life. The most important moment in [Priya](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/priyanka-singh-1)nka’s life, her father’s acceptance of her being a proud and beautiful transgender. Bigg Boss makes sure that [Priya](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/priyanka-singh-1)nka has her life’s incredible moment on national TV and has the entire house decorate her as a traditional Telugu Ammai.

The next day, housemates start deliberating about their inclinations and support towards [Ravi](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/anchor-ravi) and [Sunny](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/vj-sunny). Bigg Boss then announces to the housemates and demands the captain to count the coins on each side. [Sunny](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/vj-sunny)'s side ends up having the most coins. As [Sunny](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/vj-sunny)'s side of contestants has blissful oblivion of victory, Bigg Boss makes a twist in his decision. He announces that whichever side has the most supporters, wins the task and gets qualified for the captaincy contender task. 

With this declaration, [Ravi](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/anchor-ravi)'s side wins. Along with [Ravi](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/anchor-ravi), Bigg Boss asks him to select three members to contest the captaincy contender task. He initially chooses [Anee Master](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/anee-master), [Swetha](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/swetaa-varma-swetha) and [Hamida](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/hamida). But once Bigg Boss declares [Priya](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/mamilla-shailaja-priya) as an eligible candidate for captaincy, [Hamida](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/hamida) gladly compromises her position and gives it to the former.
