# Bigg Boss 5: Things get rough and emotional between Siri and Shanmukh

This episode of [Bigg Boss 5](https://clapnumber.com/tv-series/telugu/season-5) begins with the pitiful aftermath of the nominations task. [Priyanka](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/priyanka-singh-1) starts getting a crisis about her relationship with [Maanas](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/maanas-nagulapalli) and seeks advice from [Sunny](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/vj-sunny). She tells him that she is trying to separate her feelings from the game, but [Siri](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/siri-hanumanth)'s statements stuck to her mind giving her a dilemma. [Maanas](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/maanas-nagulapalli) joins the conversation later and brainwashes [Priyanka](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/priyanka-singh-1) that she always gets saved by luck and tells her to be ready for elimination.

The next day, Bigg boss announces this week’s captaincy task where the captaincy of each contestant will be measured with the amount of gold.

The contestants become gold minors in this task and must mine as much gold as possible. 

The two contestants who end up with the most gold must compete against each other. The winner becomes a captaincy contender. The same cycle will repeat several times until further notice from Bigg Boss.

In the middle of the task, [Siri](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/siri-hanumanth) and [Shanmukh](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/shanmukh-jaswanth) have an emotional clash as the latter remembers his girlfriend and asks [Siri](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/siri-hanumanth) to stay away. This does not sit well with [Siri](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/siri-hanumanth) as she dashes into the bathroom and bangs the walls harming herself. [Ravi](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/anchor-ravi) comes to the rescue and tries cooling things between the two. 

As for the task, [Maanas](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/maanas-nagulapalli) gets access to the power room. 

Bigg boss gives [Maanas](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/maanas-nagulapalli) the chance to procure a power tool worth 25 gold balls. [Maanas](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/maanas-nagulapalli) gives it to [Sunny](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/vj-sunny). A now consoled [Siri](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/siri-hanumanth) and [Shanmukh](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/shanmukh-jaswanth) plot on stealing [Priyanka](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/priyanka-singh-1)'s gold.
