# Bigg Boss 5: Sunny tries to mend things between Maanas and Priyanka

After [Siri](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/siri-hanumanth)'s victory, Bigg Boss congratulates her on becoming the second captaincy contender. [Ravi](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/anchor-ravi) gains access to the power room. Bigg Boss offers a powerful tool to [Ravi](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/anchor-ravi) worth 25 gold pearls. And [Ravi](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/anchor-ravi) decides to give it to [Sunny](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/vj-sunny).

But [Sunny](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/vj-sunny) blatantly rejects his offer. [Ravi](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/anchor-ravi) tries to persuade him more, but [Sunny](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/vj-sunny) still bluntly rejects it. Later, Bigg Boss himself asks [Sunny](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/vj-sunny) to accept the power tool and asks him to read out the contents of it. [Sunny](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/vj-sunny) gets the power to switch himself with one of the minors. He decides to switch [Sreeram](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/sreerama-chandra-mynampati) with himself and get into mining.

Bigg Boss later asks [Ravi](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/anchor-ravi) to announce the gold count of all contestants. [Anee Master](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/anee-master) and [Maanas](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/maanas-nagulapalli) compete against each other for having the most gold pearls. [Anee Master](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/anee-master) wins the subtask.

Meanwhile, [Priyanka](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/priyanka-singh-1) is melancholic over [Maanas](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/maanas-nagulapalli)'s indifference towards her. She seeks the sympathy of [Sunny](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/vj-sunny), who tries to console her. [Sunny](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/vj-sunny) also approaches [Maanas](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/maanas-nagulapalli) and resonates with him. [Maanas](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/maanas-nagulapalli) doesn't change his stance as he clearly says that he will push away anyone who will try to invade his personal space. 

Bigg Boss later gives the remaining non-contenders a chance to win fourth place at captaincy task. Bigg Boss asks [Ravi](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/anchor-ravi) to name three players with the most gold, to which he takes the names of [Maanas](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/maanas-nagulapalli), Kajal and [Sunny](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/vj-sunny).

The three compete against each other in a task where they do a math-related task. [Maanas](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/maanas-nagulapalli) wins the task and becomes the 4th captaincy contender.

Surprisingly, in the later tasks, [Maanas](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/maanas-nagulapalli) and [Priyanka](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/priyanka-singh-1) appear together.
