# Bigg Boss 5: Sunny throws tantrums as he loses the task over a misunderstanding

This episode of [Bigg Boss 5](https://clapnumber.com/tv-series/telugu/season-5) begins with the continuation of the captaincy contender task. Bigg boss gives sunny the options of two power envelopes and asks him to pick one and read. 

The one [Sunny](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/vj-sunny) picks are that he gets to take half the gold of one contestant and give it to another contestant. [Sunny](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/vj-sunny) takes half of [Siri](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/siri-hanumanth)’s gold and gives it to [Shanmukh](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/shanmukh-jaswanth).

Bigg boss asks [Ravi](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/anchor-ravi) the names of two players who have the most gold. Priyanka and [Maanas](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/maanas-nagulapalli) are the ones who end up competing against each other. Later, [Maanas](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/maanas-nagulapalli) and Priyanka play a sub-task. Priyanka wins this task and becomes the first captaincy contender.

The main task continues, and [Siri](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/siri-hanumanth) steals gold from [Ravi](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/anchor-ravi). 

The next round of mining begins and [Sreeram](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/sreerama-chandra-mynampati) gains access to the power room. Bigg boss asks [Sreeram](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/sreerama-chandra-mynampati) to spend 30 gold to own the power tool. [Sreeram](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/sreerama-chandra-mynampati) chooses to buy the power tool.

The next mining round commences.

After the round finishes, [Siri](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/siri-hanumanth) and [Sunny](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/vj-sunny) end up having the most gold. [Sreeram](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/sreerama-chandra-mynampati) reveals his superpower as he rightfully demands all of [Ravi](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/anchor-ravi)’s gold for himself and sells his power to [Ravi](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/anchor-ravi). The power turns out to be surrendering half of [Ravi](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/anchor-ravi)’s gold. But ironically, [Ravi](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/anchor-ravi) doesn’t have any gold, and [Sreeram](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/sreerama-chandra-mynampati) swiftly handles this situation to his benefit.

Later, [Sunny](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/vj-sunny) and [Siri](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/siri-hanumanth) compete against each other for captaincy contending. Since [Siri](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/siri-hanumanth) can’t play in the pool due to personal issues, she chooses [Maanas](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/maanas-nagulapalli) as her proxy. [Siri](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/siri-hanumanth) wins the task.
