# Bigg Boss 5: Siri becomes the first ever captain of this season!

> Hamida is the last person to enter the Power Room where she had to select a person who'd never become the captain for the entire season. 
The Power Room task comes to an end, and Siri, Hamida, Vishwa and Maanas get appointed for the captaincy task.

This heaty episode of [Bigg Boss 5](https://clapnumber.com/tv-series/telugu/season-5) begins with the housemates waking up twice to the warning sirens as [Kajal](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/rj-kajal) was asleep when two of the housemates forgot to wake her up before doing their mundane work. 

After the wake-up call from Bigg Boss, we find [Lobo](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/lobo) feeling bad about his role of being the Servant and taken advantage of his behaviour. [Lobo](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/lobo) ends up thinking he isn't cut out for this show as it restricts his freedom. 

As the day passes, the Power Room alarm goes off for the last time and [Hamida](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/hamida) ends up slamming her hand on the scanner. As she gets called in by Bigg Boss, she gets asked to pick a name who won't be able to become the captain of the house for the entire season. [Hamida](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/hamida) chooses [Shailaja Priya](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/mamilla-shailaja-priya). 

Upon telling the housemates about the same, Shailaja becomes upset about this. [Hamida](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/hamida) assures Priya that she picked her name to "motivate" her. 

The Power Room task comes to an end, and [Siri](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/siri-hanumanth), [Hamida](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/hamida), Vishwa and [Maanas](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/maanas-nagulapalli) get appointed for the captaincy task. The task is to paddle the cycle continues and whoever does it for the longest time without giving up becomes the captain. 

[Kajal](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/rj-kajal) disrupts Vishwa and [Maanas](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/maanas-nagulapalli)'s cycling and gets them out of the game as a part of her "strategy" which doesn't sit well with [Sarayu](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/sarayu-roy). Eventually, [Hamida](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/hamida)'s cycle also malfunctions, and [Siri](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/siri-hanumanth) lasts to become the captain. After being appointed as this season's first captain, [Siri](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/siri-hanumanth) starts assigning managers for the tasks in the house.
