The film also stars Kriti Sanon in the lead. Taking to social media, Akshay shared a new poster featuring himself with an intense look on his face.

The poster comes with a power-packed dialogue “Mujhe Bhai Nahi, Godfather Bolte Hain”. In the caption, Akshay wrote about his character. “This is one character that has more shades than a paint shop! #BachchhanPaandey aapko daraane, hasaane, rulaane sab ke liye ready hai. Please give him all your love”. The actor sports blue eyes and a salt-and-pepper look in the movie. He also had a bandana wrapped around his head.

[Bachchhan Paandey](https://clapnumber.com/movies/hindi/bachchan-pandey) is reportedly a remake of the Tamil film Jigarthanda. The original movie was directed by Karthik Subbaraj and was a hit. The trailer of Bachchan Pandey will be released on 18th Feb 2022. Helmed by Farhad Samji, [Bachchhan Paandey](https://clapnumber.com/movies/hindi/bachchan-pandey) will also feature [Jacqueline Fernandez](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/jacqueline-fernandez) in a pivotal role. The film is gearing up for release on March 18 this year.
