# Amitabh Bachchan to intone a poem for 'Chehre'

[Amitabh Bachchan](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/amitabh-bachchan) and Emraan Hashmi are preparing for the release of their upcoming film, '[Chehre](https://clapnumber.com/movies/hindi/chehre)'. Helmed by Rumi Jafry, the film also stars Krystle D'Souza, Rhea Chakraborty, Siddhanth Kapoor, Annu Kapoor, Dhritiman Chatterjee and Raghubir Yadav in crucial roles.

In the past, Big B brought to life the poetry of Sahir Ludhiyanvi and Javed Akhtar in classics like 'Kabhi Kabhie' and 'Silsila'. He will be delivering a poem written by Rumi for their upcoming film, '[Chehre](https://clapnumber.com/movies/hindi/chehre)'.

In April this year, composers Vishal-Shekhar recorded the instrumental execution of the title track with 107 musicians in Prague. Producer [Anand Pandit](https://clapnumber.com/celebrity/anand-pandit) said," Shekhar Ravjiani has composed the tune wonderfully. And now Amit ji will contribute his inimitable voice and add another element altogether to the track. He is a perfectionist and everything he renders, be it a small movement before the camera, an action sequence, a close-up, a song he has to hum, or just be silent, he gives the instant his all. And I am looking forward to seeing how he implements the poem because it is going to be a once in a lifetime experience."

He also appreciated the music and further added, "The film's theme, its edgy and curious elements all come together wonderfully in the score and now Amit ji will add his own magic to it."

The release date of the film is yet to be announced
