# Allu Arjun calls Gona Ganna Reddy iconic as Rudhramadevi turns 11

Allu Arjun marked 11 years of Gunasekhar's period film Rudhramadevi on Friday, calling his role as Gona Ganna Reddy "an iconic character in my filmography".

The actor posted stills from the film on X and thanked everyone who had been a part of it. He signed off with the line "EYY … GAMMUNUNDAVOYY."

Separately, the film's production house shared a new poster on X to celebrate the milestone. It called the film "The Legacy of a Warrior Queen" and a saga of courage, power and valour.

Gunasekhar wrote and directed Rudhramadevi, a period action film about the life of Rudrama Devi, the Kakatiya dynasty queen who ruled in the Deccan. Anushka Shetty played the title role. Allu Arjun and Rana Daggubati shared the screen with Vikramjeet Virk, Krishnam Raju, Prakash Raj, Suman, Nithya Menen, Adithya and Catherine Tresa.

Behind the camera, Ilaiyaraaja composed the music and Ajayan Vincent handled the cinematography. Sreekar Prasad edited the film, Thota Tharani took charge of art direction and Neeta Lulla designed the costumes. The Paruchuri Brothers wrote the dialogues, while Peter Hein and Vijay choreographed the action sequences.
