This is her first production where she will also be a leading female with Shefali Shah. The movie will also star Vijay Varma and Roshan Mathew and has a debut director Jasmeet K Reen.

[Darlings](https://clapnumber.com/movies/hindi/darlings) is set against the backdrop of a conservative lower-middle-class neighbourhood in Mumbai, is said to be a story of a mother-daughter pair who finds courage and love in exceptional situations. Alia, Shah Rukh and the rest of the team revealed the film's teaser, which ends with a "statutory warning", "Offending women can be hazardous for your health.
